Keeping it going
Once you've got the site established you need to work on keeping it going. There are various cgi scripts which will help reduce the amount of work needed to keep your site up to date. If you've got a forum or guestbook then please check it frequently - to ensure that its not being choked with bad language or spam.

Thank people
If you've had good publicity from any other sites, or magazines then make sure you thank them publicly. Make a feature of it on your site! Email people to thank them, and send them the url! Keep people on board by making sure you appreciate every little bit of publicity.

Interact with your visitors
Answer emails. Look at new ways of interacting with your visitors. Once your site is established you might want to look at putting additional functions on : forum online, a message board and voting options and other options that are available. You might want to investigate cgi scripts. There are many marvelous resources available.
