Before you spend any money on an idea you need to plan out exactly what you're going to do. Its no good rushing into what you think is going to be a great way to get rich without doing some research.

You should also start timing how long you're spending on doing research. Imagine you're on an hourly rate - every hour you put into planning has to be paid for ... eventually. Keeping this is mind should make you work harder and faster and more efficiently.

But what sort of planning should you do?

Well you could do a good dissection of the idea using the mind map technique... thats always useful to do as a starter.
